YAY HURRAY!!!

Finally the shoeboxes reached Cambodia on 8Dec 2013.. YEAH!!!!:D

Project Shoe Box is an extremely meaningful and rewarding project whereby I got to design and paint gift boxes for the orphans of Cambodia. The dynamic involvement of so many people was wonderful. Eventually everyone came together to help in the acquiring and packing of the joy gifts into the boxes. This year a total of 2000 shoeboxes were dispatched to Cambodia.

Magic Castle

 

After constructing the castle, i applied a layer of white primer before applying acrylic

I created this castle (which stands 5ft in length, 5ft in height and 2ft in width)  from recycled paper, paper boxes, egg crates, wine corks, metal tins, cardboards. Basically I joined all the different parts together using glue to form the shape of a castle. Then paint it using water based acrylic paint. All in all, took about 2-3 weeks to complete.
